The Meridian APP

One of the many ways in which we communicate with our families is via the FREE mobile and tablet app. Once downloaded you can get access to our school calendar, all newsletters in once place and receive text messages with important information about things coming up at school. 

Since we launched Jotter 2 nearly 6 years ago, it has been downloaded over 1700 times and remains a really useful tool in sharing important messages and information regarding your child’s life at Meridian. The app is run by a company called Webanywhere and they have informed us that the time has come to upgrade to a new version of the app. This means that over the summer the school will be switching from School Jotter 2 to School Jotter 3.

What do I need to do?

Nothing officially until September but we would recommend that you download School Jotter 3 so that you’re all setup and ready to switch over when we move over to the new app. Meridian won’t show as a school on there until we switch over. 

Does it cost anything?

No – the app is completely free and there no hidden paywalls.

Do I need a login?

No – the app functions without the need for a personal login and you can still adjust the year groups you receive information about in the settings section.

Why can’t I just keep using Jotter 2?

The company have informed us Jotter 2 will soon be unavailable so we need to switch over to the new app.

When is this all happening?

The plan is that over the summer Meridian will move across to School Jotter 3. We will send an email to remind everyone in September but for now we’d recommend having them both downloaded so you are ready for the switch.
