Quote of the day - 'Do we have to dress for dinner?' Louis McMahon
We have arrived at Little Canada! After a long and hot bus journey, we arrived at Portsmouth ferry port and travelled across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The ferry trip was great, we sat on the deck and enjoyed the view and the sun!
When we arrived at Little Canada, we were greeted buy our PGL group leader. We played a few games and had a tour of the site. Then, we went to our cabins and had a chance to unpack (some of the cabins are already very untidy!) but all of the children are pleased to be sharing a cabin with their friends.
All of the children have eaten a good dinner, everyone found something to eat. Tonight, our options were: tomato pasta bake, honey and lemon chicken with cous cous or fish pie. Lots of the children enjoyed salad from the salad bar as well. For pudding, we even had a choc ice!
The children have just left for their evening activity - 'Capture the Flag'. They are competing against each other in teams and we look forward to finding out who wins!
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day with lots of exciting activities so the children will hopefully be asleep early tonight!
