Meridian Nursery

I am delighted to announce that Meridian Primary School has completed the consultation regarding opening a school based nursery and we are now open for applications to start in September 2016. We will have places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds with a maximum of 30 children per session.

If you have a child looking to start nursery soon and are interested to find out more about the new 30 hour offer then please follow this link https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Miss Kaitlin Duffy is our Early Years Leader who will oversee the provision and practice across Nursery and Reception. She is also our Nursery teacher from September and we are currently recruiting support staff to be in place for September.

Over the summer holidays, the Nursery building will be completely refurbished and all new furniture, equipment and toys will be purchased.

 Session Times and Funding

Children can join Meridian Nursery for one or more full or part-time days. We offer flexible days/sessions to support our parents, carers and children.

All 3 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours funded nursery care after they turn 3.  The date you can claim will depend on when their birthday is.
