Parent Forum

Hello from Meridian's Parent Forum!

The Parent Forum has been set up as another way of communicating with parents/carers and to share views and find out more about how Meridian Primary School and Nursery works.  It is another way in which the school is able to find out about the views of parents and for the school to share successes, what current improvements are being worked on and to answer questions parents might have about education at Meridian. The Parent Forum is open to all parents and carers across the school and the Headteacher attends every meeting to hear your views.  It is a great way for Meridian parents/carers and the school to work in partnership with one another to support our children.

We want to help parents/carers have a better understanding of how Meridian school operates and how the school is developing and improving. We hope to help parents/carers support their children's learning and help parents understand what is happening in school to make sure our children are getting the best education. It is not the place for parents to raise individual issues or specific complaints or concerns - the school has a complaints procedure for this and your first step should be to talk to your child's class teacher.

We would love you to be involved!

Would you like to find out more about how Meridian operates?  What school topics are you interested in? How can we best gather views of parents? What would help you to support your children's learning at home? If you have any ideas, questions or topics you would like to find out more about, please get in touch. You can email the school (office@meridian.e-sussex.sch.uk) or leave a note for us in your child's book bag. We look forward to seeing at our meetings!  Look out for dates on the website and the newsletter.

We look forward to hearing your views!
