New Reception 2020 - 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you for choosing Meridian Community Primary School and Nursery.  I am very pleased to offer your child a place at our school starting in September 2020 and look forward to welcoming you all.

Usually we would be advising you of the dates and times for our New Parents meeting and for visits to and meet with your child's new teacher and see the learning environment.  Of course, at the moment, these plans are on hold.

I am sure you will have lots of questions, including how we will support your child to settle in, so over the next few weeks so we will update this page to support you with this.  Miss. Duffy, our Early Years Leader, has made a short video that you can share with your child to start to help them with this transition (see below)

Here are some useful online resources that you might like to use to support your child at home as well as help prepare them for starting school:

If you have any questions about September, we have a dedicated e-mail address for new Reception starters that you can use to contact us

Please complete the Admissions Form below and e-mail to us as soon as possible via so that we can start to get everything ready for when your child starts school.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon, once it is safe enough to do so.

Best wishes

Claire Westcott
