Quote of the day -

Ruby: 'If I climb to the top of the climbing wall, I may find my voice!'

Day Four

All of the children have had a brilliant day! They were asleep earlier last night as they were so tired! Breakfast today was bacon, baked beans, vegeatrian sausages, omlette, toast, cereal or porridge. After breakfast, the children had a go at either: problem solving, abseiling, archery or aeroball. They all enjoyed their activites and lots of them overcame their fears on the abseiling tower.

Lunch today was pasta, we could choose from carbonara or vergeatrian cabonara or a tomato pasta sauce with garlic bread. This afternoon, the children have been climbing. They enjoyed working out how to get up the wall and they liked using their abseiling skills to get back down.

The children have just had dinner, today they could chose from: chilli con carne with rice, vegetarian chow mein or chicken kiev with vegetables. There was even strawberry ice cream for dessert.

They are all currently getting ready for the disco - there's more glitter, deodrant and hairspray than we've seen before and they're the cleanest they've been since arriving at Little Canada!

Tomorrow morning, they will complete two activites: quad biking, jacob's ladder or trapeze. After their activities, we will load the coach with our belongings before getting the ferry back to Portsmouth. They are all very excited to see you all and tell you about their amazing week. We are really proud of all of the children this week, they have been excellent representatives of Meridian: they've persevered, encouraged each other and had lots of fun. Well done Year 6, we've had a brilliant week with you all and are very proud of you.
